'BSI will continue to spread human values in society
THE Buddhist Society of India (BSI) founded by Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar has a great contribution in propagation of the Buddhism in India hence this institute needs to be strengthened more, said Vijay Bansod. newly elected Desaiganj Taluka President of the Society, while speaking before the workers recently.
The meeting of BSI was held at Deeksha Bhoomi. Desaiganj which was presided over by Dharmaji Bambode. District Vice-President of the Buddhist Society of India. Raghobaji Shende. Rajkumar Deshpande and D S Meshram were prominently present.
Bansod further said Dr Ambedkar gave two important things to the Indian people. They are the religion of the Lord Buddha and the Constitution which are based on the principles of equality, freedom and fraternity. Bolh these things are very much valuable for ihc welfare and betterment of the people.
The Buddha Dhamma preaches peace and love which is necessary for the mankind and these principles should he propagated by one and all. The Buddhist Society of India will carry on its campaign of spreading the human values in the society, Bansod said.
Dharmaji Bumbode highlighted the work of die Buddhist Society of India and called upon the workers to open maximum branches of it so that the people come to know [he teachings Of Buddhism.
The other guests also spoke on the occasion. Kusumakar Meshram conducted the programme and Mahendra Sahare proposed the vote of thanks. A large number of BS1 workers attended the meet.
