Amravati CP forms special squad to keep externees in check

DR SURESHKUMAR Mekala. Commissionerof Police, has formed a special squad tor keeping a waich on exierned accused who continue to reside under the jurisdiction of Amravaii Police Commissionorate by violating orders.

Antra vati Police Commissionarate had externed total 62 accused from Amravati. However, many of these accused, violating the order, continue to reside in the city and are found under the jurisdiction of Amravati Police Commissionorate.

These 62 people includes 5 from under the jurisdiction of Rajapeth Police Station. 2 from City Kotwali, 5 from Kholapuri Gate. 12 from Gadgenagar. 15 from Nagpuri Gate. 3fromWalgaon. 18fromFrezarpura while 5 are under the jurisdiction of Badnera Police Station,

As soon as Dr Sureshkumar Mekala. Commissioner of Police found out about extems living in the city area about he formed a special squad comprising of 62 cops.

The decision was taken for maintaining law and order in the city in view of the ensuing Assembly elections and also the festive season ahead.

These 62 members of the special squad will have right to take action
