1 - India becomes 4th country in the world and first in Asia to Land on Mars.


2 - UN climate summit 2014 begin in New York. The meeting aims to encourage 120 participating countries to sign up a comprehensive new global climate agreement at talks in Paris next year.This is the largest high-level global climate meeting since 2009.

3 -Centre constitutes 'Bibek Debroy committee' to revamp Railway Board. The committee will suggest ways to restructure the board to ensure faster decision-making.

4- Andhra Pradesh raises upper age-Limit For direct recruitment in government service from 34 to 40 years.The move will try to undo the shrinking job opportunities For the educated unemployed youth in the state which has arisen out of the recent bifurcation.

5 -Amit Mathew is unanimously elected as the Chairman of Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) for the year 2014-15.

6- VG Mathew is appointed as the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of South Indian Bank for a 3-year term.

7 - 4th International Buddhist Conclave begins in Bodhgaya and Sarnath. Its India's initiative to boost Buddhist pilgrimage in the country by creating awareness and improving hospitality services.
