THE birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhabhai Paid, former Deputy Prime Minister of India was celebrated as National Integrity Day at Sant Gadgebaba Amravati University recently.

SGAU also observed the death annivcrsaryof Indira Gandhi, former Prime Minister.

Dr Mohan Khedkar, Vice-Chanccllor of Sant Gadgebaba Amravati University and laikiran Tidke, Pro-Vice-Chancellor paid tributes to Sardar Vallabhabhai Patel and Indira Gandhi by garlanding their portraits. Dr.Mohan Khedkar also administered oaths of National Integrity and of National Resolution to the students.

Guiding on the occasion, Dr Mohan Khedkar said that Sardar Vallabhabhai Patel contributed in keeping India intact, secured and integrated post independance. Similarly, Indira Gandhi also sacrificed her life for the integrity lndia, said Dr Khedkar.1 fence he appealed to everyone to contribute in the progress and development of the nation by adopting the works and thoughts of these great leaders.

teachers, employees and officers were present in oath taking programme.

Dr Mohan Khedkar and top officials in Sam Gadgebaba Amravati University have participated in the Ekta Daud (Run for unity) organised by District Administration for National Integrity in the city.
