Musical b'day treat for Sudhakar Ambuskar

NOTED musician and harmonium player Sudhakar Ambuskar was felicitated on the occasion of his 60th birthday in a function held at Pramilatai Oke Hall recently. Renowned Ghazal singer Bhimrao Panchale's concert was organised to mark the occasion.

Ghazal Sagar Pratishstha, Mumhai. and Lalit Kala Akademi had jointly organised felicitation. Adv Arun Shelke, President of Shri Shivaji Education Society, presided over the programme while well-known director Rajdatta, l-alit Kala Academi President Prashant Deshmukh, were prominently present.

Sudhakar Ambuskar was honoured at the hands of the guests. Ambuskar who retired as a lecturer of Music Department, lias contributed largely to development of music in the city. As an associate of Bhimrao Panchale Ambuskar played harmonium al national and international concerts.

Director Rajdatta. Adv Arun Shelke praised the contribution of Ambuskar and wished him long and healthy life. Praiibha Pavitrakar, Bhagyashri Panchale, Amoli Gadre, Kirti Amubskar. Prajyot Deshmukh. Sanika Agnihotri accompanied Bhimrao Panchale at the concert while Prashani Agnihotri. Dr Devendra Yadav, Sandip Kapur played the music. Kishor Bali conducted the programme while Prashant Deshmukh proposed vote of thanks. The concert was largely attended.
