I Thieves decamp with I Rs 7.73 lakh cash from ADCC Bank


SENSATION gripped at Benoda village in Warud tehsil of the district as unidentified thieves decamped widi cash of Rs 7.73.563 from the Amravati District Centralised Cooperative (ADCC) Bank by cutting the locker of the bank with gas cutter. The incident came to light on Monday at 10 am. This is the third time in which thieves have executed theft in the hank.
According to information, unidentified thieves broke into the Benoda Branch of Amravati District Centralised Bank from the backside.The thieves then broke the locker of the hank with the help of gas cutter and then took away cash of Rs 7.63.563.
The theft incident came to light on Monday morning when the Manager and the employees came to open the bank after holiday on Sunday.
Benoda Police immediately reached the spot along with the dog squad and finger print experts after getting information and performed the panchanama of the spot.
As per police, the thieves might have executed the theft incident on Saturday night or on Sunday night as bank was closed on Sunday-Singe. Sub-Divisional Police Officer. Thakare. PI and Arjun Thosare. PI from Benoda Police Station also visited the spot and have started the investigations.
Benoda Police have lodged an offence against the unidentified thieves under section 454. 457 and 380 of Indian Penal Code and are investigating further in the incident.
