WITH an aim lo throw light on various problems regarding the conservation of nature and environment and to extract solutions on it. the President and Board of Director of The Education Society here announced 'Jan-Vanya Jiv Mitra Puraskar' for the best article on the topic- 'Man-Animal Conflict : Situation and Solutions.

It may be mentioned here that The Education Society has been conferring various awards to encourage the promising writers and researchers on nature and environment to meditate on various issues and to find out solutions on it since last few years.

Likewise, the Vidarbha has protected and conserved large area of forests. The forests of Vidarbha have been enriched with the variety of wild life. But on the contrary, the issue of man-animal conflict has been taking ugly shape. Numerous cases of man-animal conflict took place in Vidarblia and therefore it has become a separate subject for research.

The Government has also failed in solving ihe problems and the society, with an expectation to gel apt answer to the problem and following its annual tradition, this year too, resolved to take another step ahead and appealed the writers and researchers to write on- 'Man-Animal Conflict: Situation and Solutions' and sent their entries to the society's office before October 2. 2014. '

The best article will be honoured with the 'Jan-Vanya Jiv Milra Puraskar* along with the cash prize  Of Rs I lakh. The studious and research writing Off the topic, journalists whose articles on the topic have been published in the regional, divisional and local newspapers and through Electronic Media, and the wild-life lovers can send their entries for the award. But their writing should not exceed beyond Vidarbha. The entries will be adjudged b\ the experts.
