DEBATE competition on the topic 'Maidani khelana abhyaskramat saktiche sthan dyawe kinahi' (Should sports be made compulsory in academics was organised here at Vishwabharti Public School to mark the National Sports Day on the birth anniversary of Major Dhyatichand.

Headmaster, chaired the programme. Students from the school extended overwhelming response to the debate competition by participating in large numbers. Students while participating and debating in favour Of the topic spoke said field events should be given importance to make mind fresh so that studies are done well. Students also expressed their concern over non-availability of favourable environment for sports in India.

Sumit Dcshmukh and Jayashri Dewale were the judges.
