Head of Forest Force Naqvi to retire

 

SWH Naqvi. Principal Chief ConscrvatorofForest (Head of Forest Force) and three other top forest officers arc retiring on superannuation on Monday.
The other three officers are: Anil Mohan. Principal  Chief
Conservator of Forest (Production. Management). Shirish Asthana. Addl PCCF (Land) and P R Yeole. Chief Conservator of Forest (Resource Utilisation). A K
Saxena. Director General. Social Forestry, Pune. will take charge as Head of Forest Force from Naqvi. Joining as IFS probationer. Naqvi (1977 batch) completed two years' training in forestry at Indian Forest College. Dehradun and then cleared foundation course of four months at LaiBahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration. Mussoorie. He joined Stale Forest Department on July  19.  1979 at Chandrapur in then West Chanda Division as IFS probationer and completed range training in Kolsa in the core of Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve.
Later, he became Assistant Conservator of Forest at Bhamragad. He was promoted as Deputy Conservator of Forest in Easi Melghai and Dahanu. Then, he rose to the posts of CF. CCF. APCCF and Head of Forest Force, working in all the wings of the department.
Naqvi is retiring after putting in over 37 years of service.
