Transporter held for fraud
LOCAL Police have gained success in arresting a transport company owner-cum-truck driver for not laking oil cakes worth Rs 5.5 lakh from Shanii Industries. Hinganghat to their destination in Rajasthan and instead selling them off elsewhere. Cyber Crime Cell of Wardha Police helped in tracking the truck with the help of the accused's mobile number and the truck was stopped at the toll naka in Borkhedi. Nagpur district on Monday.
As per information given by police. On July 9. a truck (RJ-21/GA-6633) of Veertej Transporters. Chandrapur left for Garibnawaz Enterprises. Ratangadh in Rajasthan after loading 516 sacks of oil cakes from Shanti Industries.
However, the accused truck driver Lekhbaram Chaudhary (52). a resident of Chandrapur. allegedly sold away the entire stock worth Rs 5.5. lakh at Media in Nagpur dis-trict if Rajasthan.

When Garibnawaz Enterprises was contacted Agrawal was shocked to find out that the oil cakes did not reach the company.
Agrawal then lodged a complaint with Hinganghat Police. Cyber Crime Cell of Wardha Police came into action and tracked the location of the truck with the help pf Chaudhary's mobile phone.
ASIH Aade. ASI Umakant Tade. Constable Gajendra Dharme laid a trap and nabbed Chaudhary at Borkhedi toll naka.

Police team is expected to leave for Rajasthan on Tuesday for recovery of the stock.
