Additional Military Secy visits Kamptee Military Station
MAJ Gen V G Khandare. SM. Additional Military Secretary from Integrated Headquarters. Ministry of Defence (Army) visited Kamptee Military Station on July 19.
Maj Gen Khandare addressed the officers posted at Kamptee station in Garuda Auditorium in Brigade of the Guards Regimental Centre, Kamptee. The audience included all officers posted at the siation and 34 officers auending Middle Level Commanders and Staff Officers Law Course. Ser-42 (MLSC-42). hailing from various unit/formations deployed in the country.
The General Officer delivered a talk on Military Secretary (MS) matters, that is, promotions, postings, complaints, policies etc. It was the first-ever such talk in Kamptee station taken by MS Branch. Integrated Headquarters. Ministry of Defence (Army).
In the evening, the General Officer visited Institute of Military Law (IML). Kamptee. The General Officer was introduced to all the officers posted at Institute of Military added that interaction of MS officials with the student officers of the course was useful and appreciable. Wg Cdr Gangakhedkar intimated that it was first-ever such talk in Kamptee station taken by MS Branch, Integrated Headquarters. Ministry of Defence (Army).
The General Officer placed on record the giam leaps taken by Institute of Military Law as a premier Category 'A establishment towards imparting legal training to Indian Army. Friendly Foreign Countries, and Paramilitary Forces under the aegis of Headquarters Army Training Command (ARTRAC) besides undertaking ventures of almamater of Judge Adjutant General's Department.
