Man outrages woman talathi's modesty
A 38-YEAR-old Pan Stall owner outraged the modesty of a woman Talathi working at Kharwadi village in Cliandur Bazar tehsil of the district in her office. The incident took place in the afternoon on July 25 last. Sanjay Dadarao Khandare is the name of accuserd.
According to the information. Sanjay Dadarao Khandare (38) from Kharwadi village has an Pan Stall at the village. On Friday afternoon Sanjay Khandare had gone to the office of woman Talathi from the village when she was in her office. He asked the Talathi whether they had done the panchanama of his Pan Stall which was damaged due to the water. Aciualy the employees already hadmade it clear that the Pan Stall had not been damaged.
Angry over this Sanjay Khandare took out his cell phone clicked the photograph of the woman Talathi and threatend. She immediately snatched the cell phone from his hand and asked him to delete her photograph from his cell phone. Sanjay Khandare allegedly held both her hands to snatch his cell phone from her. He threw the documents in the office.
Sharad Jawade, Tehsildar from Chandur Bazar immediately rushed to the spot as soon as he got the information Chandur Bazar police have registered an offence against Sanjay Khandare under relevant section on a complaint from the woman talathi and are investigating further in the incident.
Bharal Parwatkar. President of Talathi Sanghatana condemned the incident and has demanded to immediate arrest of the accused.
