Will abolish LBT, toll tax within 100 days: Ajit Pawar
RESENTING poor roads in town, former Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar raised a question mark over the efficiency of previous MLA and appealed people to elect NCP candidate with thumping majority for prosperous Diwali and better future. He was addressing poll campaign rally organised at old market yard of local Agriculture Produce Marketing Committee on Thursday, in favour of party candidate Prof Raju Timande.
Speaking further Pawar said that at present LBT and toll tax collection are the burning issues and assured the gathering of thousands to abolish both within 100 days if voted to power. Government has decided to exclude MSRTC buses from toll collection to lessen burden on passengers, he said.
Criticising BJP-led NDA Government Pawar said that the assurance made by Modi 10 bring inflation under control within 100 days has proved lo be hollow.
Praising die vision of former Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar. the former Dr Chief Minister said he was well aware of the problems of fanners and took many decisions in their favour. However, the present NDA Government is anti-farmers, he alleged.
Taking a dig at Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray Pawar said, he can't understand the problems of fanners by sitting in Mumbai. Me further lambasted former Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan for his inaction in taking decisions in favour of poor people.Earlier. Raju Timandc listed the works done by him in his introductory speech.
