International conference 'INPAC 2014' begins
THE IEEE sponsored International Conference on Power, Automation and Communication INPAC 2014' organised by Department of Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Computer Engineering and Information Technology of Government College of Engineering on Monday.
The conference held to mark the golden jubilee year of the college will conclude on October 8.
The theme of conference is Advances in Power System, Process Control, Computer, and Telecommunication Engineering. This conference is being organ -ise under the Enhancement of Research and Development activity of technical 1-ducHii on Qualily Improvement Programme of Government of India.
'INI,A(;-20I4'is a multi-disciplinary conference covering range of topics from Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Computer Engineering and Information Technology.
The meet will throw light on Power Systems, Electrical Drives and Control, Renewable Energy, Smart Grid, Power Electronicsare included in electrical engineering. Mobile Technology. Embedded Systems, VLSlTechnology, Antenna, Image Processing (Electronics Communication) PLC/SCADA/DCS Industrial Aulomation.Signal Processing In Instrumentation, Biomedical Instrumentation. Adaptive Control/Nonlinear Control, NN & Fuzzy Logic are included in Instrumentation.

The conference was inaugurated by Dr Kammurthy Natar-ajan, F.x-Chairman ofAICTE and fix-Director of I IT, Madras. Prof Dr Lalit Goyal, Electrical Engineering, and Director, Global Education and Mobility, Nyanong Technological University, Singapore, and Prof Dr D Tukaram, Electrical Engineering, IISc, Bangalore. were present.
Dr Natarajan delivered the key note address on 'Challenges and Opportunities in Communication and Energy Technology'.
Conference will beheld in total of eight sessions out of which three sessions of Electrical Engineering, three sessions of Electronics Engineering and Instrumentation Engineeringand two sessions of Computer Science and Information Technology. Each session will he preceded by keynote address by eminent personalities
