BOTANICAL Society and Nature Club, Research Cell run by Botany Department of R I) I K College Bednera was inaugurated recently in a programme by the hands of Or Dinesh Khedkar, Associate Professor Shri Shivaji Science College Amravati and Secretary of Amravati Garden Club.

Dr Rajesh Deshmukh presided over the programme, Dr Shubhangi Ingole. Head of Botany Department and in-charge of Botanical Society and Nature Club, organised the programme and threw light on significance of plant sciences, plants and objectives of botanical society and natures club.

Dr Ingole also introduced the list of new committee. Rajashree Kokane.newiy elected President, delivered the introductory speech and explained planning for her term of year 2014-15.

Pranali Solanke and Priya Bingare, Secretary, read out the activities carried out by last year commiitee. Jaya Sanap, in-charge of Research Cell and Ph D student read out the research activities of the botany department. Dr Khcdkar declared the inauguration of the committee of year 2014-15 and appreciated all the activities of the presiding year. He also felicitated Rajashree Kokanc by presenting trophy and certificatesponsored by Shrikant Ingole memorial trust for securing second position in BSC 2nd year. Vaishnavi Marodkar and anjwani conducted proceedings of the programme while Nilam Panjvvani proposed a vote of thanks.

Or Ingole, Marodkar, Mohod, Kale, Kokane.Thakare, Pahurkar, Tarpe, Shaharukh Khan, Mohan Manckar and all students look efforts to make the programme successful.
