Cleanliness must for

VIMAGH Cleanliness Drive was organised by National Service Scheme Department of Arts and Commerce College run by Shri Shivaji Education Society here to mark the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi recently.
The NSS volunteers cleaned the drainages, nullahs, garbages andalso roads creating awareness about cleanliness amongst villagers. The students also cleaned the bus stand area.
Guiding on the students, DrG RTadas, Incharge Principal, spoke on the the importance of cleanliness for physical and mental health.
Shashikant Kale, NSS Programme Officer, Nalini Bodakhe, Joint Programme Officer, Dr SanjayGudadhc, Shyam ladhav, Vinayak Tekadc, Shivaji Kanfade, Vasant Padghan, Sugandh Band, Prakash Pantawane and others were prominently present on the occasion. NSS representatives Gaurav Malocle. Pankaj Neware, Pravin Kadu, Trishul Gulhane. Hemant Fate, Dinesh Gondekax, Bhavesh Gale, Shahrukh Pathan, Pranav Masanc, Hhushan Kanade.   Manish   Kumbhare. Sameer Khan, Mohan Bhandari, Sharail Paneki, Vicky (ihoclilc, JaycndraCiorle.AniketDevghare, Akshay Shcndc, Vishal Suryain, Pritam Anwani, Dinesh Dhurve, Sachin Waghmarc, Marishwar Raut,   Nitesh   Lonkar,   Akash Surjuse, Mayur Hele, Shalljad Shah worked forthe programme. Ramkrushna Mahavidyalaya: lean Indian drive was conducted al Ramkrushna Mahavidyalaya, Darapur run by Dadasaheb Gavai Charitable Trust to mark the Gandhi Jayanti.
Dr Kundan Alone, Principal of Ramkrushna Mahavidyalaya chaired the programme while Fulzele, National Service Scheme Programme Officer, and Shrik-hande were the guests of honour.
In his presidential speech, Dr Kundan Alonemade the students and staff aware of the importance of cleanliness. Other guests also guided the gathering. The drve kicked off with cleanliness rally at the village. The rally started from the college. At the outset, guests inaugurated the programme by performing the puja of the portraits of Mahatma Gandhi and Lai Bahaddur Shastri.
All the teachingand non-teaching staff and students were present in large numbers.
