Tension in Walgaon as cops beat youth

TENSION gripped Walgaon locality here as people from the village have gheraoed the police station demanding suspension of the cops who allegedly beat 3 youths from the village. The incident to beat the youths was executed by the cops from Walgaon police station on Priday morning at Walgaon Bus Stand.

According to the information, Mohammad ShoebalaisKaja(19), Ubed Khan Alaulla Khan and Ahet Shamkhan, all from Jamil Colony locality here had gone to Walgat in for the labour work at the house of Bijwe on two-wheeler (MH-27-V-2485). Walgaon police near the bus stand tried to stop the youths as they were travelling (ripple seat on the two-wheeler. But the youths tried to flee from the spot instead of stopping. The cops have followed them and stopped them near the busstand. The angry cops allegedly started beating the 3 youths,When some of the people tried to intervene one the cop named as Mushlaq Ali allegedly misbehaved with them too.

Irked over the behaviour of the cops hundreds of people from Walgaon took the youths to Walgaon police station and they gheraoed the policestation.They have demanded the suspension of the cops. This has caused tension at Walgaon Police Station.

The mob dispersed when PI Sharma registered a complaint and assured to inquireinto the matter.
