IN A gory mishap involving two motorbikes, a man and his 8-year-old son were killed on the spot while his two other kids and another person were left seriously injured. The accident took place near Pankanregaon on Risod-Shengaon road in Hingoli district on October 3.

As per details, Shiekh Amjad Shiekh Yasin (30), a resident of Sant Amardas Nagar in Risod, had gone to Shengaon on his motorcycle (MI I-37/N-97S) along with his three sons. He was returning to Risod in the afternoon, when, at the same time, Eknath Vishwanath Mukit (35), a resident of Saykheda in Shengaon taluka.was travelling on a mobike (MH-38/M-1992) from Risod to Shengaon. Eknath was allegedly in an inebriated condition was his mobike was being driven at break-neck   speed   when   he dashed against the vehicle of Shiekh Amjad Shiekh Yasin. The impact was so hard that Shiekh Ainjad Shiekh Yasin and his 8-year-old son Shiekh Aman Shiekh Amjad wort- killed on (he spot. Shiekh Kahim Shiekh Amjad (7) and Muskanbi Shiekh Amjad (1) along with Eknath Mukit also sustained severe injuries. The kids were taken to a private hospital in Uisod while F.knalh was shifted to Nanded. Shengaon Police have registered offence and further investigation is underway.
