Sancheti, Sananda's assets swell between two elections

ALL THE candidates in fray for the Slate Legislative Assembly elections have declared there assets, as per the direction of the Election Commission. In the district, the assets of sitting MLA From Malkaptir constituency Chainsukh Sancheti show a fivefold rise as compared to the figures he had furnished during the last Assembly election.Theassets of Khamgaon MLA Dilip Sananda  have also doubled.

It may be mentioned here that Sananda had won from Khamgaon in 2009 for the third time. At that time, he had declared movable and immovable assets in the name of his wife, children and his own to be worth Rs3,71.16,499. In 2014. this has gone up to Rs 7, 46.52,113. Thus there has been a rise of Rs 3,75,35,614 in last five years.This includes Rs 6,55,706 in cash, Rs 4,67,734 in bank and Rs33.87,300 invested in shares, insurancepolicies   and   National   Savings Scheme.

On the other had, Malakpaur's Chainsukh Sancheti and his wife had movable and immovable assets worth Rs2,16,93,230as per the affidavit released by Sancheti before 2009 election. This time's affidavit claims that they have Rs 12,963.356. Thustheirnct worth has swollen by Rs 10,79,46,423 in last Vive vears. This includes Rs3.25,000 incash, Rs 13,19,221 in banks and investments worth Rs 78.29,227.
