Dr Jayashrec Vaishnav has been appointed as the President of Amravati unit of Saaskar Bharati. leading cultural or ganisation. Shrikam Pundlik has been appointed as the new General Secretary of the Amravati unit,
Sanskar Bharati had organised a violin programme of well known artist Prof Vasant Jalit during which the new executive body was declared for coming years. Outgoing President Dr Kama! Bhonde handed over the responsibility of Dr Vaishnav in this programme organised on the occasion of Gurupoumima. Dr Bhonde will now be the Vice President of Vidarbha Region Sanskar Bharati and she will have the responsibility of guide of the Amravati unit. Apart from her veteran artists Rajabhau More, poet Baban Saradkar and Prof Alaknanda Tuljapurkar will also be the guides. Prof Mohan Kate. Prof M T Deshmukh. senior harmonium player Narayan Darekar and Nana Lodam will be vice presidents. The executive body also has Ashutosh Deshpande and Prasad Pande as joint secretaries. Shashank Shiralkar as treasurer and Kishor Nichat as joint treasurer. Arun VIdhate as publicity chief. Anuradha Raghuwanshi as women chief and Khushali Bhonde as joint women chief. It also includes Sanjay Sahu and Upendra Godbole as arrangemens heads, Mukund Saraf as convenor of Masie section and Dr Mecnal Thakare and Alhad Alsi as coconvenor. Gajanan Sangekar as Convenor of Drama seciion and Prasad Khare and Kunal Thakare are co convenors.. Dr Wasudha Ghurade is liieraiure seciion con-vemion while Seema Pelanade will assist her. Sheelal Metkar will be convenor of dance section and Adv Rasika Wadwekar-Wankhadc and Surbhi Bode will be co-convenors. Satish Upadhyay will be convenor of painting section and Varada Paihak will be coconvenor. Anita Shclukar will be convenor of Rangoli section and Sadnhya Deole and Sukhada Deshpande will be co convenors. Deepak Nandgaonkar will be convenor of Youth wing while Mrunmayee Deshpande will be coconvenor.
