The WBCIS was applicable only in Amravali and Yavatmal districts of Amravati division but fanners could not participate much in it. as delayed Monsoon hampered sowing activities in region. Different crops in the State get affected during Kharip season due to variety of aspects of weather and hence WBCIS was implemented in the State.
