HC rejects Amravati estate broker, three others' bail plea


NAGPUR bench of Mumbai High Court rejected the bail plea of renowned estate broker of the city Hemant Vyas and three others who allegedly deceived Jayam Pravin chandra Khatri in the deal of 40 acres of farm using fake documents. Jayant Khatri informed about this decision of High Court ai a press conference on Saturday.

Khatri said that his father Pravinchandra Khatri did a deal of 40 acres of farm at Mauje Salora (Khurd) in Chandur Railway tehsil of die district in 2010 with Amol Acharya through Hemant Vyas ami Prashanl Vyas. Even after 2.5 years and several follow ups by Khatri family, Acharya and Vyas did not execute a sale deed with Khatri.Acharya was trying 10 avoid and neglect messages of Khatri send through Prashanl and Hemanl Vyas for the sale deed. In October 2013, Khairi lodged a civil suit at Civil Court against Amit Asopa. Amol Acharya. Prashant Vyas. Hemanl Vyas and original owners of the farm from Salora village.
Khatri later found that Vyas and his colleagues had deceived original owners of the farm at Salora village using their fake signatures. Khairi had lodged a complaint at the Civil Court under section 156 (3) against Vyas and others with the suggestions from Adv Wasudev Navlani and Adv Chirag Navlani. Court had ordered police to lodge offences against all the four accused.
Accordingly. City Kotwali Police had lodged offences agaiast Hemant Vyas, Prashant Vyas, Amit Asopa and Amol Acharya under section420. 467. 468.471. 120 (B) and 34 of Indian Penal Code on April 19, 2014. All the accused are absconding since (hen. Identity of Ami) Asopa came lo light when investigations started. Meanwhile, the bail plea of the accused was rejected by the Amravati District and Session Court on Max 8. All the accused, again submitted the bail petition at Nagpur Bench of Mumbai High Court where Court rejected the bail of Prashant Vyas and Atnit Asopa on July 3. Police are yet to arrest accused. Adv Rashi Deshpande. Public Prosecutor and Adv Pankaj Navlani pleaded for Khatri. informed Jayant Khatri. According to Khatri, he is not the only one who has been cheated by Hemanl Vyas and Prashant Vyas and there are many such people in Amravati. Details about these would come only after the arrest of accused, he said.
