Aedes Aegypti is found in the rural as well as urban areas and it grows in the water accumulated in empty pots, tins, lyres, plastic bottles, disposable cups, glasses, cooler tanks and other such things stored in the houses or surrounding areas. The symptoms of dengue are severe fever, vomitting. severe headache, pain in the eyes, and red rashes/pimples on the skin. The platelets in the patient's body get decreased to a great extent and may cause death due to heavy bleeding or shock.
The fact is that there are no medicines for dengue but regular pills of paracetamol, drinking maximum water and taking medicines as per the symptoms are the solutions to reduce the intensity of dengue. Therefore the patients, in spite of getting panicky of the disease, should go to the nearby hospital and take proper treatment, said Dr Selokar.
It was also informed that disposal of the empty pots, tins, tyres, plastic bottles, disposable cups, glasses, cooler tanks and other such things where water is accumulated is the only precaution to keep away from the infection of the disease,
