Yavatmal Grand Shobhayatra at Ram Navami celebrated with fervour 

RAM NAVAMI was celebrated with great pomp and fanfare at Yavatmal. The grand shobhayatra taken out to mark the occasion was witnessed by thousands. Devotees lined up in big numbers to pull the chariot of Shri Ram.

The grand shobhayatra, organised by Ramjanm motsav Samiti, started from Jai Hindi Square.

A special chariot was prepared for Lord Rama. Devotees assembled in long queues to take their turns for pulling the chariot. At every square, grand welcome was offered to the shobhayatra.

Devotees had made extensive arrangements taking into account the comfort of those participating in the rally. Free water and snacks were supplied for ihe participants of the slwbhayatra. Various scenes from Ramayan were depicted and were the special attraction of the shobhayatra. But what drew the attention of devotees most were the huge statues of Shri Ram and Shri Hanuman.
