Employees in Ordnance Factories to don new look
FMPLOYEERS of Ordnance Factories are going lo gel corporate look with dress code. Ordnance Factory Board. Kolkata. is all set lo implement dress code for officers and employees in all Ordnance Factories in the country. Preparations lo start dress code are underway and expected (come in force within three months.
A proposal to implement dress code for officers and employees in Ordnance Factories was on cards since long. Taking positive note on the proposal, ihe Deputy Director General (Industrial Relations), Ordnance Factory Board. Kolkata. indicated implementation of project within 3-4 months to bring uniformity amongst officers and employees of Ordnance Factories.
Once dress code will be implemented, more than one lakh officers and employees in 41 Ordnance Factories in the country u ill gel sky blue shins and grey pants as their unilorni decided by a conimutee with consent of employees' unions and associations. The uniform will also have two logos of Ordnance Factory Board. Kolkata. and concerned Ordnance Factory, while a badge of ticket number and name of the employee.
According to information, every officer and employee will be given five set of uniforms which will be compulsory while working in Ordnance Factories. The proposal was delayed when Ordnance Gothing Factory. Awadi. expressed its helplessness in weaving such grand stock while Ordnance Equipment Factory also denied to stich more than one lakh uniforms. Now. with fresh
