Schools to open from June 26 in Vidarbha
ALL SECONDARY schools in Vidarbha will start from June 26. informed Director of Information Education. Pune, through a directive given to all educational officials in the State.
Though an order no 3542 dated March 26. 2014, to have uniformity all secondary and higher secondary schools in the Vidarbha will start from June 26 while those in rest of Maharashtra will start from June 16. The summer vacation would start from May 1 while the Diwali vacations would start from October 20. All Education Officers have been mid 10 ensure white planning vacations that the working days of the school must be 230 days and that the holidays do not exceed 76 days.
A news item published in some dailies regarding starting of schools all over the Slate from June 16 left many resenting that children should not be asked to come to schools when the temperatures of still soaring and remain above 40 degrees.
