'Quick clearance of Town Planning files must be probed'

"INVESTIGATION should be done to find out how Chief Minister has cleared files of Housing Development and Town Planning Department just a few days ahead of imposition of model axle of conduct. The decisions, allegedly beneficial to some builders, were pending from last 4 years, alleged Ajit Pawar. former Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra while addressing a press conference. the was in the city to campaign for Ravi Rana and Ganesh Kharkar. When asked about key contenders in the Assembly Election. Pawar said that every party has different challenges and contestants in all divisions of (he district. NCP will get simple majority in the Assembly election and would not need support of any Of the party, he claimed.

On the allegations about irrigation projects- Pa war said that the irrigation projects were sanctioned in accordance with the needs of the division. The White Paper issued by State Government and the SIT set up on the demand of BJ P-Shiv Sena provided answers 10 all allegations about the scam in the projects, informed Pawar.

"Why did Congress party not raise questions over my leadership and misuse of  power when we work together." asked Pawar adding that the party was irritated due to imposition of President' s rule in the State after withdrawal of support by NCP.

If NCP comes to power, it will give speedy governance that would have transparency. It will be a non-corrupt government with democratic ideology, said Pawar.
