Garbage not cleaned? Use Whats App to inform NMG

 

 

THE WhatsApp (application) on smartphone is generally used for sending jokes, messages, voice recording and videos 10 friends. On smartphone. this has become one of the most very popular applications in recent days. However. Health Department (Sanitation) of Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has decided to use this system to maintain cleanliness in the city. They are using this system to inform each other about heap of garbage and non-collection of garbage in certain areas. The Health Department is adopting this high-tech system within department to maintain cleanliness in the city. Health Officer Dr. Ashok Urkude informed that they have formed a group of all Inspectors, zonal officers, heal in officer and Deputy Director (Health) are members of the group. The senior officers take round of city even day and wherever they found heap of garbage, they immediately upload the photographs on their mobiles. In many places the sanitation workers leave the heap of garbage on road without lifting it. Urkude has issued notices to Zonal Officer for negligence in duty and slapped fine of Rs 1000 to them. The common man can also use this application to lodge complaint to health department. They can upload the photo and send it on what's app to Ashok Urkude on his number 9823074729. The> can also upload photos on mobile of zonal officers.
