70% Voting in Gadchiroli

GIVING a decisive defeat to bullets and reinforcing rule of the ballot, Gadchiroli's voters came out in good numbers to cast their vote. The constituency registered 70 percent voting on Thursday.

There was a good turn out of voters all over the coastituency as they arrived in good numbers since morning. The voters were seen casting votes in interior parts also, said District Deputy Election Officer. Except tor an incident of firing on the polling party in Etapalli taluka. the elections by and large went off peacefully in the constituency.

Noted social workers Dr Abhay Bang and Dr Prakash Anne were among the prominent people who exercised their franchise on their respective booths. Prominent candidales Dr Namdeo Usendi and Ashok Naik also cast their votes in the morning.
