People should co-operate for devpt of district: Naik

WASHIM District Guardian Minister Manoharrao Naik. in his speech alter hoisting the Trt-colour on Independence Day here, said that all should cooperate for all-round development of the district.

"Elected representatives and officers of the district are doing their best to reach benefits of various government schemes up to the people. Perfect coordination is necessary amongst the elected representatives and officers for success of these schemes," he said. The Minister also declared Ahilyabai Holkar Awards for 2011-12 and 201243. Those who

will be presented with the awards include Nandabai Ganode. Amanwadi (Malegaon) and Baidabai Kambale. Mangwadi (Risod).

Ai the function, entrepreneurs and people who did commendable work in different fields were felicitated.

Those who were prominently present on the occasion were Zilla Parishad President Sonali Jogdand. Collector Ramchandra Kulkarni. Superintendent of Police Tushar Patil and Chief Executive Officer Ruchesh Jaivanshi. Freedom fighters and citizeas were also present in the flag hoisting function.
