'BJP to form election panels in all 288 Assembly segments in State'
BHARATIYA Janata Party ( BJP) will form election committees in all 288 segments of State Legislative Assembly and try to win maximum seats to form the next Government in Maharashtra, said Madhav Bhandari. Spokesperson of BJP. lie was talking to media at Tilak Patrakar Bhavan here on Saturday.
The party will concentrate on all seats of Mahayuti. said Bhandari. A brain-storming session of BJ P officebearers was held at Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Hall in Reshimbag on Saturday. Bhandari said that the brain-storming session was organised to discuss poll strategy with all prominent office-bearers of Eastern Vidarbha. V Satish from New Delhi, Shrikant Bharatiya. Sanjay Phanje and others participated in the meeting held at Reshimbag.
The party is organising meetings in all the constituencies of State Legislative Assembly in order to mobilise party workers for poll preparations. As far as BJP's election manifesto is concerned, Bhandari said that it will be based on local issues and agenda of the party.
According to Bhandari. the party candidates will be asked to present local issues that can be included in the manifesto. He added that the senior party leaders will be meeting with all party cadres. The leaders will not only motivate the party activists to work harder but also guide them. Replying to a question. Bhandari said that if voted to power in Maharashtra. BJP would abolish Local Body Tax (LBT). On the Congress Ministers' boycott of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's functions. Bhandari said that such behaviour was not expected of senior political leaders. He added that Congress did not have any issue to face the people after their decimation in recently held Lok Sabha elections, and hence Congress leaders had come down to playing such tactics.
