'Rajiv Gandhi maintained dignity of democracy by appointing Vajpayee on Rajya Sabha'

LATE Rajiv Gandhi, former Prime Minister of India had maintained the dignity of Indian democracy by appointing Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Rajya Sahha though he had lost the Lok Sabha election, said by Kishor Borkar. Director of Apang Jeevan Vikas Sanstha, Amravati. He was delivering guest speech at Sadbhavana Day programme organised by Rajiv Gandhi D Ed College. Amravati run by Apang Jeevan Vikas Saastha. Amravati to mark the birth anniversary »f late Rajiv Gandhi recently. SahebGhogarechaired the programme.

Addressing further Borkar said that the visionary leadership of late Rajiv Gandhi prooved successful in maintaining the administrative, political and social balance of India. Hemain-tained the balance in administration and controlled chaotic situation occured after the murder of late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. He always followed the footsteps of Indira Gandhi,  said Borkar.

Saheb Ghogare in his presidential speech narrated the importance of the Sadbhavana of Rajiv Gandhi.
