BANDH call given by Federation of All Maharashtra Petrol Dealers' Association (FAMPEDA). around 100 petrol dealers across the district went on day-long Bandh to press abolition of lax levied by State Government on fuel.

FAMPEDA called a day-long state-wide Bandh of petrol pumps except from Mumbai due to multiple layers of taxes like sales tax. Value Added Tax (VAT). Cess. State Specific Charges (SSC). Local Body Tax (LBT). and Eniry Tax as a result price hike in petrol and diesel apart from oiher states. The 100 dealers in ihc district shut down their petrol atkl diesel pumps to press the demand of abolishment of unnecessary taxes that resulting burden on common man in the state.
