Hasan Mushrif hails cement weirs of Buldana
"THE 363 cement weirs constructed under Weirs Conservation Department will increase the irrigation potential manifold in the coming times in Buldana district and will also generate employment. Mushrif further said that the Democratic Front Government has proved it in last five years that it thinks about the betterment of the common man. About the drought situation the Minister said that 123 talukas have been declared drought-hit. Farmers in the affected villages will get 33 percent waiver in the electricity hills of agricultural pumps and students will also be given relief in school fees, he told. Mushrif further said that the Stale Government was in a position to handle the drought situation effectively.
