Talathi caught taking bribe of Rs 6,000
SLEUTHS of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught a talathi of Bramhanwada in Ner tehsil red-handed while accepting bribe of Rs 6,000 from a farmer.
As per details, the complainant farmer had given a part of his land to his son. He met talathi Digamber
1Govind Khandare regarding preparing land documents and including his son's name in the documents. However. Khandare allegedly told the farmer that the work will not be until and unless he (farmer) pays
him Rs 6.000. The farmers promptly lodged a complaint with Anti-Corruption Bureau. Yavatmal. Acting on it. a trap was laid and the farmer reached Khandare's house in Ner.As soon as the Khandare accepted the money, Anti-Corruption Bureau sleuths swooped in on him and arrested him under various sec lions of Anti Corruption Act.
