SHORT film 'Titwee' on the life cycle of Red Wattled Sapling bird is a very informative film and it is a very good documentation from the bird conservation point of view, said veteran nature writer and bird researcher Maruti Chitampalli. He was speaking on the release of Titwee' short film written and made by nature researcher and writer P S Hirurkar. Chitampalli released the short film and was immediately made availble on You Tube. Anil Thakare. DIO of Nagpur. Rakesh Chaudhari were prominently present. Speaking on the occasion. Chitampalli said that even small birds like Red Wattled Lapwing play major role in maintaining the balance of nature. Every bird is a friend of farmer and Hirurkar should make documentaries on the other birds also, he said. Chitampalli also suggested to make the Titwee' short film in English also.

This short film has been produced. written and directed by Pradecp Hirurkar while Nitin Khandarkar and has done the editing and sound arrangements. Khandarkar was felicitated at the hands of Chitampalli on the occasion.
