Environmental project of NSS inaugurated

THE programme Environmental Projects of National Service Scheme unit was inaugurated in Arts and Commerce College. Badnera affiliated to Sant Gadgebaba Amravati University (SGBAU) recently

Dr Gopal Vairale, principal of the college presided over the programme where as Prof Vijay Nagpure, Corporator inaugurated the programme. ProfDrOBMunde, member of Sanstha was prominently present. The project involved tree plantation and tree conservation.

Programme started with tree plantation and homage was paid to peo Malin village landslide calamity vic-time. Prof Dr Santosh Baasode delivered introductory speech.

Prof  Nagpure said that every student should plant at least five saplings and should take care of them. The students of NSS should go into the rural areas, perform street plays and explain the villagers about the importance of tree plantation and tree conservation, he said. Dr Vairalc informed thai the NSS team would hold awareness camps in the rural areas. Prof Munde also spoke. Akshav DhurveandBarabude conducted the proceedings of the programme while Deepali Deware proposed vote of thanks.
