Colourful procession marks Lord Parshuram Jayanti
ON ACCOUNT of Lord Parshuram Jayanii, Darapur Brahman Sabha had organised a grand procession ai Daryapur recently. Along with the people from Brahmin community in the town, people from alt strata participated in this procession.
People from other communities welcomed the procession at every square on its way and had also made arrangements of chilled water and cold drinks.
Women welcomed the procession by drawing rangolis in front of their homes.
Gopal Cliandan, District Coordinator of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, had made arrangements of cold drinks and drinking waterat ST Bus Stand area. BaIwan I Wankhade. RPI leader and Director of Market Committee, welcomed the procession at 11 Talkies area and wished good luck 10 Brahmin members.
Marwadi. Gujarati community members also welcomed the procession and made arrangement of drinking water. MP Anand Adsul and MLA Captain Abhijeet Adsul also extended wishes.
Large number of people had thronged every square in Daryapur to see me historical 125-year-old 'Ram-RauY. a chariot that was a special attraction of this procession. Big number of Brahmin community men, women and children had participated in procession. Students of all casts and sects from Bhaskar Maharaj Balvikas Camp had participated in the procession. Warkari dindi and Dhol dindi from rural parls were enhancing the grace of the procession. Slogans of 'JaiShriram' and 'Bhagwan Parshuram ki jai' were raised by people from Brahmin community. Gajanan I'.nil Bharsakale. President of Gadgebaba Mandal and Dr Pandurang Gulhane also participated. Floats of Bajiprabhu Deshpande. Sam Dnyaneshwar, Bhagwan Gopalkrishiia. Sant Tukaram, Prahhu Shriram-Lakshman-Sita and Hanuman. Zaanshi Rani Lakshmibai and Bhagawan Parshuram were the added attractions. Omprakash Raypure. Dipak Sharma, Tanmay Tiwari. V'ivek Ganorkar. Girish Deshpandc. Vcdani Ganorkar, Sakcl Mahajan. Lakshmi Kamhc. Payal Ganorkar, BharatSharma, Hemanl Pakdhune. Narayan Pote. Jilesh Raparliwar. President Ravindra Ganorkar. Pramod Joshi. Devidas Kale. Nandu Shewane. Gulhane. Bablu Wankhade and Prakash Ambulkar took special efforts for the preparation of the procession. Entire working committee of Brahman Sabha and people from Brahmin community were present in large numbers.
