MEMBER of Legislative Council Shohhatai  Fadnavis,  vehemently demanded to stall looting   citizens   of

Chandrapur by collecting tax at i.nlali toll booth in a press conference on Monday. She also declared to stage Thiyya agitation and stall the collecting oftoll taxes at Tadali booth on August 20.

Interacting with mediapersons. Chandrapur has four  flyover bridges with the cost of Rs 32 crore. The toll taxes have been collected from Chandrapurianssince last   10   years.   However,   the Maharashtra         State Road Development CorporalionlMSRDO is still collecting toll taxes from Chandrapurians since men. "We had already staged agitations to stall collecting toll taxes at Tadali last year. Nonetheless, the MSRDC is collecting taxes at Tadali toll booth since 10 years and looting the general public. It is totally injustice with the Chandrapurians." said Shobhaiai. She further claimed that till now over Rs 69 crore laxes have been collected at Tadali toll booth run by Sahakar Global Limited, a Mumbai-bascd firm.
