'Rehabilitate ex-servicemen to motivate youth to join Forces'


THE air was thick with patriotism and a feeling of immense gratitude to wards the many brave men who
laid their life for the motherland. The occasion was 'Shura Mi Vandile' programme organised in the town
by Cheke Patil Foundation. The programme was held with the initiative of Sanjay Cheke Patil. President of Cheke Patil Foundation. and in association with Maji Sainik Bahuddeshiya Shikshan Sanstha. Maji Sainik Sanghafana at local Wadhwani Mangal Karyalaya. Ex-servicemen from Buldana district and kin of soldiers and officers who had died while protecting the honour of the motherland, were felicitated on the occasion.

Soldiers' Welfare Officer Sub Lieutenant Digvijay Ambhore. Shyam Dhanmane.  In-charge Tehsildar,
Wing Commander (retd) Devcndra Padghan.    Ratnakar   Wankhade. President of Maji Sainik Sanghatana.
AshokShindeof Nationalist Soldiers' Cell. PI Vijaysingh Rajput, organiser Sanjay Cheke Patil and Archana
Chekc Patil were seated on the dais. In his presidential address. Col (retd) Suhas Jatkar. Director of
Soldiers' Welfare Department, spoke about the life of soldiers and also talked about the expectations of
Armed Forces from the citizens of the country. The young generation will be motivated to join the Armed
Forces only when the retired soldiers are rehabilitated properly, he opined. Captain Varun Singh said
that only the nation which knows how to respect its soldiers can make progress.  Milindkumar    Badge.
District Soldiers" Welfare Officer. said that his office was always striving for the betterment of the soldiers
and their families. Sanjay Cheke Patil gave the introductory speech. He said that society should never forget soldiers who face extreme conditions while protecting the country and also their family members who pan with their son. brother, husband or father for the sake of the nation. He said that the programme had been organised with an aim of felicitating and honouring these people. He evoked a loud round of applause when he declared that the family members of all martyr soldiers and ex-servicemen will gel free treatment at Yogiraj Hospital in Chikhli.
