NOP leader, workers booked for creating ruckus after mishap

BORGAON Manju Police registered offences against many people including the Nationalist Congress Party's Women's Wing leader Pratibha Awachar on charges of interference with government works and unlawful conduct.

As per details, five farm workers and a child were killed at village Kolambi on Tuesday morning when a container hit them. Reacting to this, villagers led by Rashtrawadi Congress Party leader Pratibha A wachar staged rasta who for a couple of hours in the village. The mob also set afire the container which hail killed the labourers and and later pelted stones at police vehicles. Fortunately, no one was injured, hut all this led to lot of chaos and hampered the traffic on the road. Therefore, Borgaon Manju Police on Wednesday registered offences against Anama Talokar. Vishwas Warokar. Samadhan Shirsat. Surendra Gaikwad. Saiyyad Ajhar Saiyyad Gulzar. Pravin Kisanrao Damodar, Satish Baharao Gawai. Sadik Shah Saddul. Vijay Sangule and Gopal Kadale and all of them were arrested.
