25th Junior National Throw Ball Championship: Haryana lifts the title
HARYANA (boys and girls) lift the champion title of the 25th Junior National Throw Ball Championship being held at Shanti Nagar ground Bhilai.
In the boys final Haryana defeated host Chhattisgarh in a tough contest by 25-23, 26-24 points to lift the title while in the girls final Haryana beat Karnataka by 25-20, 27-24 lo win the title.
The national championship was organized under (he aegis of Chhaitisgarh Slate Throw Ball Association. Minister for Higher Education. Govt, of Chhaitisgarh graced die prize distribution and closing ceremony as Chief Guest while Bhilai Mayor Nirmala Yadav graced the event as special invitee.
In his address Chief Guest. Prem Prakash Pandey assured [ha! the proposed Indoor Stadium in the corporation area will soon come into existence. He also assured all possible help for the promotion and development of throw ball game.
Earlier in the first hall under the semifinal matches where in the girls group Chhattisgarh got defeated by Haryana. Padmashree JM Nelson was also present at the closing and prize distribution ceremony.
