FINALLY, the Stale Government has declared its long pending pre-post graduation (JPPG) counselling programme after receiving verdict in its favour on Thursday. PPG counselling will start from May 5 and will continue till May 31. The Government will give seven days time (o students to take admissions in government and private medical colleges. From May 5 to May 9. (he Government has given lime to candidates for registration. Those who had earlier got their names registered will have to register again. PG counselling will be held at Gandhi Medical College (GMCl. Earlier, it was presumed that on PG seats of the Slate medical colleges, only those who had passed MBBS from Stale's medical colleges will he given seats. But now after winning the case in Supreme Courl. the Slate Government will hold on lo its guidelines of counselling. Under these guidelines,  will he mandatory for the candidates to be domicile of the Stale and passe MBBS from medical colleges of any pan of ihe country will be eligible to apply. Rules, terms and conditions of PPG counselling will be available on Medical Education Department's website on Friday.
